Over the week we have been implenting new features in our TrentaHost infrastructure, one of the things on our checklist included advanced DDOS Mitigation. We had made the required updates to our firewall to prevent DDOs attacks even better then what we had. But soon after this feature was implemented we soon realized that our protection was really advanced that it blocked all in-comming connections into our Alpha WebHosting Node, thus causing the downtime today. We have now gone through the firewall and decreased the filtering options, all sites are now back up and functioning and we will continue to monitor our firewalls and continue to make our services safer from future attacks.
