Dear Valued Customer,
Unfortunately, we have decided to shutdown the following 6 datacenter locations (Phoenix, AZ / Atlanta, GA / Ashburn, VA / Amsterdam, NL / Los Angeles, CA / Dallas, TX) and move all customers and their Virtual Private Servers over to Portland, Oregon. Once again this only applies to Virtual Private Server (VPS) customers as that's our only service in Global Locations. The reason for this move is due to instability issues customers have been experiencing with the above 6 locations over the past few weeks and the datacenters inability to address the issues.
We understand this poses a huge inconvenience to our customers that require global locations but we have to put our customer satisfaction first and we can only do that if we are confident in the services we provide. Unfortunately, network stability is the baseline of our service foundation and we do not feel confident providing services out of locations where the datacenters themselves deny to address customer stability issues.
Over this weekend Saturday, September 17th, 2016 and Sunday, September 18th, 2016 your Virtual Machine(s) will be migrated over to Portland, OR and the IP will be changed. The migration should last roughly one hour and can occur anytime between these two days; all VM's will be shutdown properly and all the data will be transferred over to Portland, OR. Once this process is completed we will email you with a new IP Address.
We fully understand how this migration is coming at such short notice and may affect your business/end customers; but we feel that the main priority at this moment is to ensure we cotinue forward providing exceptional service and uptime that we ourselves would expect as a customer of TrentaHost INC.
If you have any questions about this migration please respond directly to this email - our agents are standing by to assist accordingly to ensure this process is as smooth as possible.
As usual we will always research alternatives in the future to ensure we bring back our Global Presence to the table!
